Focuses on the plan of the American military services to develop a more active military role for the Ready Reserve forces, the country's weekend warriors. Increase in the amount of money being spent on the Reserves; Emphasis on achieving an ever-increasing combat readiness; Plans of the U.S. Congress to consider an administration bill, the Uniformed Services Special Pay Act, intended to provide enlistment and re-enlistment bonuses for the Reserves.
